(PRESS RELEASE) SAN FRANCISCO, CA, 2025-Apr-29 — /Travel PR News/ — The RSAC™ 2025 Conference, the world’s largest and most influential cybersecurity event, will take place at the Moscone Center from April 28 to May 1. With more than 40,000 attendees expected from over 130 countries, the conference will further solidify San Francisco’s position as a global hub for technology, innovation, and cybersecurity. The event is projected to surpass the $62.8 million in local economic impact generated by RSAC 2024.

After 34 years of being hosted in the Bay Area, primarily in San Francisco, RSAC 2025 will introduce a significantly expanded campus. The addition of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will provide more space for dynamic sessions, collaborative learning, and enhanced networking opportunities.

RSAC is thrilled to return to San Francisco and expand our campus, allowing us to showcase more of the city while providing attendees with greater access to programs, innovation, and networking opportunities,” said Linda Gray Martin, Senior Vice President of the RSAC Conference. “San Francisco is the ideal location to connect the world’s leading cybersecurity minds, with its international airport, abundant hotel options, and vibrant culinary scene.”

This year marks the 20th anniversary of one of the Conference’s most highly anticipated events: the RSAC™ Innovation Sandbox contest. In a groundbreaking development, each of the Top 10 finalists will receive a $5 million investment through a new funding initiative backed by Crosspoint Capital Partners. This new initiative is aimed at accelerating cybersecurity innovations, reinforcing the Conference’s legacy as a launchpad for emerging companies. Innovation Sandbox alumni have raised more than $16.4 billion in funding and participated in over 90 acquisitions since its inception.

In addition to the Innovation Sandbox, RSAC 2025 will unveil the RSAC™ Membership Platform, a year-round resource hub for cybersecurity professionals around the world. The platform will provide access to exclusive content, secure messaging, AI tools, and a community forum. With both free and premium tiers, the platform will be accessible via desktop and mobile devices, further enhancing the global cybersecurity community.

In 2024, the RSAC Conference hosted 42,000 attendees, featuring 425 sessions and 33 keynote presentations, while welcoming over 600 exhibitors. With RSAC 2025 expected to surpass these figures, the conference will continue to contribute to the economic vibrancy of San Francisco.

San Francisco is proud to host world-class conferences like RSAC, which brings global attention to our city’s strengths in innovation and technology,” said Mayor Daniel Lurie. “RSAC is a prime example of how we connect leading minds in cybersecurity and groundbreaking technologies to collaborate right here in our city. We look forward to welcoming even more premier events that will help drive economic growth and showcase the best of San Francisco.”

“The return of RSAC 2025 further affirms San Francisco’s global appeal as a hub for technology and innovation,” said Anna Marie Presutti, President and CEO of the San Francisco Travel Association. “We are excited to welcome attendees from around the world, and we’re proud to partner with RSAC to contribute to the cybersecurity sector’s growth and create a safer, more connected future.”

Large-scale events like RSAC 2025 are critical to connecting San Francisco’s innovation ecosystem to the world. With 20% of attendees traveling internationally, San Francisco’s world-class infrastructure, including direct flights through San Francisco International Airport, is key to bringing the global cybersecurity community together.
