Airline received the ‘Best Inflight Service’ award at TTG Travel Awards 2018, and came up tops in the Middle Eastern/African region at the 2018 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards
DOHA, Qatar, 2018-Oct-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Airways continues its award-winning year by clinching the ‘Best Inflight Service’ Award at the 29th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2018. The airline was also named the ‘Best Middle Eastern/African Airline’ for the ninth consecutive year at the recent 2018 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.

Qatar Airways also won the ‘Best Inflight Service’ award, which recognises the airline for having the best product and services, most consistent and reliable network and schedule and also for having the best agency outreach programmes. Qatar Airways was once again recognised as a TTG Travel Hall of Fame honorary member after having been named ‘Best Middle Eastern’ airline 10 consecutive times.
The 29th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2018 is organised by TTG Asia, one of the region’s most trusted travel trade resources. The airline awards are decided based on votes cast by travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies.
Qatar Airways was also named ‘Best Middle Eastern/African Airline’ at the Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards held in Hong Kong on 13 September 2018. The Business Traveller Asia Pacific awards pay tribute to the very best in the travel and hospitality industry, those who go the extra mile to make travellers’ experiences as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The awards are independent and are based on votes from readers – business travellers and frequent flyers – and are verified by global market research leaders.
TripAdvisor – a travel and restaurant website – also crowned Qatar Airways as the ‘World’s Best Business Class’, ‘Best Business Class Seat: Middle East’, World’s Top 10 Airline and ‘Best Overall Airline: Middle East’ earlier this year. These accolades attest to Qatar Airways’ passenger-focused strategy which continues to provide the highest level of satisfaction to customers.
These awards add to a year of continued success for Qatar Airways, which was named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organisation Skytrax.
