Premier Holidays hosts educational visit to Guernsey to Advantage Travel Partnership agents
EDUCATIONAL VISIT SAW ADVANTAGE TRAVEL PARTNERSHIP AGENTS EXPERIENCE THE ISLAND’S CHARMS
Cambridge, United Kingdom, 2017-Oct-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Premier Holidays escorted 12 travel agents to Guernsey so they could discover what the island has to offer.
The three-day educational, exclusive to agents from Advantage Travel Partnership, saw the group enjoy a host of activities to get a feel for Guernsey and its unique charms. This included a walking tour of St Peter Port with local guide Annette Henry, a boat trip to neighbouring Herm where they participated in an evening walking tour, and a photo stop at the Little Chapel.
Before flying home, the agents tried out the Pirates Bay Adventure Golf at St Pierre Park hotel, a new attraction to Guernsey. The itinerary also featured site inspections of a number of hotels across Guernsey.
For many of the agents, it was either the first time they had been to Guernsey or they had visited some years ago. The educational gave them first-hand experience in selling the island as a must-visit destination.
Susan Childs, from Chobham Travel, said: “Only 45 minutes from Gatwick takes you to another world.”
Vanessa Bird, from Owen’s Travel, added: “The trip really showed us just how beautiful Guernsey and Herm are.”
