Oman Air Resumes Double-Daily Muscat-London Flights, Boosting International Connectivity and Paving the Way for 14 Weekly Returns by Summer 2026

(IN SHORT) Oman Air has announced the return of its double-daily service between Muscat and London beginning 26 October 2025, in response to high passenger demand and steady route performance. Initially, the second flight will operate on four days each week, providing increased convenience and improved connections to major destinations, especially those serviced by oneworld Alliance partners in North America. The airline plans to expand to 14 return flights per week by summer 2026. Operating on the latest generation B787-9 Dreamliner with a three-cabin configuration, this enhanced service features scheduled departures from Muscat at 01:40 (arriving in London at 05:55) and returns from London at 08:25 (landing in Muscat at 19:35). The enhanced service, operated by the state-of-the-art B787-9 Dreamliner with Oman Air’s signature three-cabin configuration – including Business Studio, Business Class, and Economy Class – will offer substantial scheduling benefits. Under the new plan, the outbound flight will leave Muscat at 01:40 and reach London at 05:55, while the return flight will depart London at 08:25, arriving in Muscat at 19:35. This revamped schedule will enable seamless same-day connections to the US and other long-haul destinations, further enhancing the airline’s competitive edge in a bustling global market.
