MUSCAT, Oman, 2016-Feb-09 — /Travel PR News/ — For its February 2016 edition, Wings of Oman, Oman Air inflight magazine, gets set for a world-class sailing event in Oman and goes on a spectacular adventure through Singapore’s Garden’s by the Bay.
The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series is arguably the most exciting event in world sailing. It features top-class sailors, racing against each other on high-speed catamarans with special hydrofoil hulls. This month, for the first time ever in the over 100 years of the competition’s history, the Middle East – and specifically the Sultanate of Oman – will play host to an LVAC event. Wings of Oman is proud to take an in-depth look at the event in its February 2016 edition.
This month, Wings of Oman also takes readers on an adventure through Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay – the ‘green building’ architectural masterpiece that attracts thousands of visitors every year. They are a spectacular example of what can be done when you combine nature, technology, and people that are passionate about living an eco-conscious existence.
As usual, the magazine also features a regular ‘Must See: Oman’ page, which this month looks at the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque; and a ‘Landmark Travels’ page, which looks at the much-loved Stone Town in Zanzibar.
It also features the 2016 edition of the now-famous Tour of Oman cycling stage race, which takes place this month around Muscat; as well as a ‘Path to Success’ feature, which profiles five top Omani innovators and designers. Wings of Oman also features the British Museum as a perfect family and kids outing for travellers to London in its ‘Family Traveller’ piece.
Finally, Wings of Oman has a diary of events taking place around the world in February. It also has a very special ‘Oman View’ page, which profiles the work of Omani photographers; and pages with the latest news from Oman Air.
