OAK designated the Official Airport of Oakland Roots SC
Oakland, Calif., 2023-Apr-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Oakland International Airport announced a year-long, multi-media advertising partnership with Oakland Roots Sports Club. The partnership includes the designation of the San Francisco East Bay airport as the Official Airport of Oakland Roots SC.
The 2023 season long partnership also includes in game venue branded signs, introduction of a re-branded Mosaic + section as the I FLY OAK Mosaic + section, on-line digital features and the globally recognized “I Fly OAK” logo emblazoned on the shoulder of the official 2023 Oakland Roots jerseys.

The airport will leverage the advertising program to promote to fans of Oakland Roots SC and visitors, the convenience and reliability of the airport which is located closest to most of SF Bay Area residents, employers, and tourism venues. The program will also create awareness of an ever-growing list of destinations including the recently added flights to New York/Newark, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, Baltimore/Washington DC, and San Salvador.
