Expansive New Itinerary in Prince William Sound
AdventureSmith has operated in Prince William Sound since its founding in 2003, but the new Prince William Sound Explorer itinerary travels farther afield than other small ships in the region. Aboard the 36-guest Safari Explorer, for the first time, travelers will circumnavigate Prince William Sound rather than traveling along only the western half of the sound. This new route increases the chances of viewing resident orca pods, as well as humpback, gray, blue and minke whales.
Beginning and ending in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, travelers have easy and expanded air access from the lower 48 and the ability to combine pre- or post-cruise land tours to extend their stay.
