Initial flight on 27 March 2018
Fly non-stop with the world’s most state-of-the-art aircraft to the Southeast Asian metropolis from EUR 599
Cologne, Germany, 2017-Jun-26 — /Travel PR News/ — At the start of the upcoming summer flight plan, Lufthansa will reinstate the connection from Munich to Singapore. The A350-900 will take off five times a week under flight number LH 790 from 27 March 2018. The departure from Terminal 2 will be at 22:00. This ensures optimal transfer connections from all of Germany and Europe. “We are very happy to be connecting two of the world’s best airports in Singapore and Munich. Both locations have high economic potential and offer many tourist attractions. Singapore will thus be our first A350 destination in South East Asia,” says Wilken Bormann, CEO at the Munich Hub.
Singapore is an exciting melting pot between East and West, in which the historic quarters have remained vibrant. The smallest state in Southeast Asia offers an imposing skyline and is at the same time one of the few world cities with a jungle in the city area. Popular tourist destinations are in particular the Marina Bay, the entertainment district Clarke Quay along the Singapore River, Raffles Hotel and the numerous large parks such as the Gardens by the Bay with the spectacular “super trees”. Singapore is one of the economically strongest countries in Asia and is a major site of high-tech industry, research, development and services.
The A350-900 is the world’s most modern and environmentally-friendly long-haul aircraft. It consumes 25 percent less kerosene, produces 25 percent fewer emissions and is considerably quieter at start and take-off than comparable aircraft types. The first of 15 aircraft has been based in Munich since February. The A350-900 offers space for 293 passengers: 48 guests in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy Class and 224 in Economy Class.
The return flight from Munich to Singapore is available from EUR 599 (price example for ticket purchase until 18 July 2017, travel period from 27 March 2018 to 31 May 2018). Information and booking options for Lufthansa flights can be found at LH.com or via the Lufthansa Service Center at phone number +49 (0)69 86 799 799 (land-line rate).
