LOS ANGELES, CA, 2019-May-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Traveling foodies take note! Taco mania has rolled into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the opening of Leo’s Xpress. Formally associated with Los Angeles’ famed Leo’s Tacos Truck, this is the latest local food concept to be part of LAX’s rotating food truck by global restaurateur HMSHost and its Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partner Havana House.
Located in the LAX Terminal 4 food hall, Leo’s Xpress brings travelers the coveted tacos that have filled the Instagram feeds of in-the-know foodies who have come to savor and find out its food trucks around the Los Angeles area for years. Now under new creative direction, Leo’s Xpress entirely its own brand, seeks to make a name for itself through quality ingredients and bold flavor, promoting all the influential elements of Los Angeles that have shaped the company brand.
“At LAX, we are committed to showcasing the flavors, businesses and cultures of Los Angeles, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than putting an incredibly popular local taco truck in one of our terminals,” said Jeffrey Utterback, Deputy Executive Director of Commercial Development, LAWA. “Part of creating a world-class airport experience is providing exceptional choices in food and dining, and Leo’s Xpress taco truck brings the best of Los Angeles to our guests and employees, while also providing an opportunity for a new local concessionaire to do business at LAX.”
At LAX, Leo’s Xpress offers travelers an authentic taste of Mexican street food. At the center of the menu are customers favorite, Al Pastor tacos – named among the best in LA – Leo’s serves a variety of freshly made tacos, quesadillas, burritos, alambres, and tortas! All well fresh, seasoned juicy and ready for consumption. Each can be accompanied with a selection of toppings from the salsa bar which serves a bright variety of red, green and orange salsas, as well as traditional Mexican condiments.
All items are served with a side of Mexican Rice and Pinto Beans or a Garden Salad with cilantro vinaigrette. Each meal is prepared fast and packaged perfectly for travelers to enjoy in the seating area, at their boarding gate, or on the plane. Early morning to late-night travelers can also savor Leo’s all-day breakfast menu of Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Tacos, and Breakfast Burritos.

“It’s all in the flavor, really. Everything has been tested and measured for success. We love street food and we love Los Angeles and that’s just it. Our recipes are a product of our environment,” said Leo’s Xpress President Willie Rodriguez.
Leo’s Xpress at LAX originated from Leo’s Tacos Truck which has been serving its fresh and affordable tacos since 2010. It started in West Los Angeles and expanded to four truck locations from Koreatown and Echo Park to the Valley.
