MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – 2012-10-2 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton Manchester Deansgate is set to host its most lavish Star Ball to date as a host of celebrities, including many soap and football stars, confirm their attendance at the event on Saturday 13th October.
The glitzy fundraising ball is set to be packed full of quality entertainment, with Lemar taking time out from his new album’s promotional tour to wow guests with a soulful performance. All funds raised will go to a charity partner of Hilton in the Community Foundation which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. This year, local charity partner, Key 103’s Cash For Kids will donate the proceeds to Moodswings – an award-winning Manchester based charity founded to help people recover from mood problems and the severe emotional distress they can cause.
Guests will enjoy a sparkling reception and a four course meal during which a silent auction will take place to raise funds for the local charities. Prizes up for grabs include return flights and accommodation in Abu Dabi, a personal haircut with Trevor Sorbie, Dinner with Jennie McAlpine at her new restaurant, Annie’s, and a one week all inclusive stay at Hilton Sharks Bay Resort in Egypt.
The evening will be hosted by Moodswings ambassador, Jennie McAlpine who plays Fiz Stape on Coronation Street and Key 103 Breakfast presenter, Mike Toolan.
