Kiyohito Iimuma Appointed as Chief Operating Officer of IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan

Iimuma, who brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, started his career with ANA Hotels and has held various leadership roles across IHG properties in Japan. His extensive background includes positions in revenue management and hotel operations, as well as overseeing multiple ANA Crowne Plaza hotels. With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, Kiyohito began his career at ANA Hotel Tokyo, which is now ANA InterContinental Tokyo. Over the years, he transitioned into key roles such as revenue management at the Tokyo Support Centre, followed by General Manager positions at several IHG hotels across Japan. Kiyohito’s leadership was further recognized as he became Area General Manager, overseeing multiple ANA Crowne Plaza properties in key cities such as Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kanazawa, and Toyama.
In his most recent role, Kiyohito returned to the Support Centre as Director of Operations, where he focused on enhancing support for hotels, strengthening brand alignment, and fostering owner engagement.
Kiyohito’s promotion highlights IHG’s commitment to cultivating talent from within and offering career growth opportunities. His leadership and extensive expertise are expected to drive IHG’s continued success in Japan’s ever-evolving hospitality landscape.
