
Kansas City International Airport sees huge 174 percent increase in the passenger traffic in July 2021 YoY
Kansas City, MO, 2021-Sep-01 — /Travel PR News/ — The City of Kansas City, Mo., Aviation Department reports that during July, 890,085 passengers traveled through Kansas City International Airport. This was an increase of 174.0 percent compared to July 2020. By comparison, the July 2021 passenger count was 42.5 percent less than July 2019. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 40.5 percent compared to last year with 3,962,415 total passengers handled.
The Kansas City Airport System is an Enterprise Fund Department of the City of Kansas City, Mo., and is supported wholly by airport user charges.
