JetPrivilege offers its members an opportunity to learn with professionals at unique golf clinics

MUMBAI, 2012-10-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — Aimed at providing exceptional value to its JetPrivilege members, Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege, India’s largest frequent flyer programme will now offer its members the unique opportunity to learn golf from professionals in the sport. JetPrivilege members will now be able to get tips of the ‘Sport of Kings’ under the expert tutelage of golfing professionals at special ‘Golf Clinics’ to be conducted during the Indian Open 2012. This unique initiative is being conducted by Jet Airways in association with Nimbus Sports.

The golf clinics for JetPrivilege members will be organised in multiple phases with the first phase encompassing twenty clinics to be held in the Garden city of Bengaluru from October 18th to 21st, 2012. The special clinics will run concurrently with the Indian Open 2012 at the KGA Golf Course, with five clinics being conducted per day by a golf expert. JetPrivilege members will also be provided with golf equipment at the venue for the clinic. Another 90 Golf Clinics will be held across India from November onwards.

Interested JetPrivilege members can participate in these golf clinics on a first come first serve basis by redeeming only 15,000 JPMiles.

Jet Airways, in association with Nimbus will organize two dedicated clinics, one for beginners and one for semi-experienced or experienced golfers, with each clinic lasting for an hour. The first half of the clinics shall see the Golfers teeing off at the golf simulator where JetPrivilege members can take lessons in a user friendly environment, while the second part shall unfold on the driving range.

Beginners will also be introduced to the basic rules and techniques of the game in the simulator. Following which they will be taken to the golfing range for real time experience under the supervision of a marquee coach or player. Similarly the experienced and semi-experienced players will be offered guidance on the various advanced aspects of the game in the simulator, followed by some real time tips and training by the professional golfer to hone and improve their skills. The Indian Golf Open is the oldest-running sports event in India and is one of the flagship events on the Asian Tour. This year the event is set to feature England’s James Morrison, another European Tour winner along with many of Asia’s leading lights.
