Incheon International Airport summer promotion: Passengers who use self check-in system may win generous gifts in a raffle

Incheon Airport offers travel voucher, round-trip plane ticket, duty free gift card and more through summer promotion

Incheon, South Korea, 2014-8-7 — /Travel PR News/ — For about a month from July 19th to August 17th, Incheon International Airport conducts summer peak season promotion, through which passengers who use self check-in system may win generous gifts in a raffle. According to Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), the summer promotion has been organized to increase the use of self check-in machines, thereby alleviating congestion in the passenger terminal.

Self Check-in Kiosk is an automatic plane ticket machine that allows passengers to proceed with their check-in procedure in about 3 minutes, such as choosing seating, depositing miles, issuing boarding pass, and other services that they usually carry out through receptionists at the check-in counters. In addition, if passengers are to go to visa waiver countries, they can largely reduce their waiting time by issuing their boarding pass at the self check-in counter and checking in the luggages at the counter designated only for luggages. On the departure floor (3F) of Incheon Airport, 78 self check-in machines are currently in operation. The giveaways for this summer promotion event includes travel vouchers worth some 2 to 4 million Korean won, a round-trip ticket for 2 people from Asiana Airlines and Korean Air, and duty free shop gift card that can be used upon departure.

To participate in the promotion event, passengers just have to issue boarding pass using the blue self check-in kiosk. A total of 978 lucky passengers with a stamp on their boarding pass will be given the chance to win the prizes (※8 airlines that offer self check-in service: Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Air China, Cathay Pacific Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines).
