INDIANAPOLIS – 2012-10-5 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) has rolled out dedicated social media channels focused on keeping the public up to date on business and employment opportunities with the IAA. Updates on these topics will now appear on Facebook at facebook.com/IndianapolisAirportAuthority and Twitter at @IAA_business.
Updates and links to more details on Concession Opportunities, Invitations to Bid, Property Opportunities, Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotes, Requests for Letters of Interest, and IAA employment opportunities will be posted to the accounts, along with other pertinent updates on business developments.
The new social media channels will complement traditional sources of IAA public information, including the business and employment page on
www.indianapolisairport.com. The IAA will continue to use its primary social media channels, www.facebook.com/IndianapolisInternationalAirport and @INDairport on Twitter, to share general information.
The latest methods of communicating with the general public will also strengthen the IAA’s ongoing commitment to engage with diverse businesses, explains Corey Wilson, director of supplier diversity for the IAA. “This initiative will be particularly valuable as the IAA continues to look for more ways to engage with enterprises reflective of the communities we serve,” he said. “It will help us ensure important IAA opportunities and business developments reach a broad, diverse audience.”
Wilson added, “I encourage anyone, from employment seekers to business owners, to follow these channels, as they are the best way to receive direct notification about opportunities at the IAA.”
