In partnership with Finnair, Braathens Regional Airlines (BRA) has launched a non-stop service between Helsinki Airport and Malmö Airport. The first flight took off on April 16, 2018.
Vantaa, Finland, 2018-Apr-20 — /Travel PR News/ — The new route between Helsinki and Malmö offers six weekly departures – every day of the week except on Saturdays. The new non-stop service is a collaboration between BRA and Finnair and can therefore be booked through both airlines.
-We are pleased that we can now offer a direct route to Malmö. Also, since Helsinki Airport is the best connected airport in Northern Europe and we have over 100 flights to Asia per week, the route will open up exiting opportunities for those looking for more options to travel from Skåne to China, Japan and other Asian destinations, said VP Route Development Petri Vuori.
The new route between Helsinki and Malmö has a travel time of 1 hour and 45 minutes and will be served by BRA’s Avro RJ jets with seating for 112 passengers.
Sweden is an important market area for Finnair, and the expanded cooperation with BRA offers our customers excellent connections to the cities in Sweden,” says Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer Juha Järvinen in Finnair’s press release in February.
-We are happy that the new Braathens Regional Airlines direct route to Helsinki from Malmö is now launched and we look forward to meeting and serving new customers onboard, say Braathens Regional Airlines’ PR Manager Jim Hofverberg.
Finavia actively develops routes to attract new airlines to Finland and to increase the country’s flight connections even further.
