Continuing series kicks off with a specialty cocktail, raising funds for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Houston, 2015-4-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Houston and Quattro Restaurant have launched the Cocktails for a Cause series. Inspired by the incredible philanthropic community in Houston, the craft cocktail team behind the bar at Four Seasons has developed a campaign to donate 20 percent of all proceeds from a rotating specialty cocktail to benefit local charity partners.
Kicking off the campaign is the Derby Dancing cocktail on the Lobby Lounge menu. A potent punch inspired by spring in the South, the drink was developed by the Hotel’s cocktail mastermind Cory Cuff, and mixes Rebecca Creek bourbon with Cynar, Cointreau and Green Chartreuse, a nod to the juleps of the Derby days, along with the fragrant herbal notes of spring in southern Texas. Of the campaign, Cuff says, “Supporting our local community in Houston is incredibly important to us – and there are so many small ways to increase our philanthropic giving. Guests of the Lobby Lounge can even raise funds by simply raising a glass.”
Each cocktail ordered through June 1, 2015 will donate 20 percent of proceeds going towards the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in support of the annual Gulf Coast Chapter’s Man and Woman of the Year Campaign. Additionally, Four Seasons Hotel Houston will be selecting a new Houston-based charity and cocktail every ten weeks.
