Four Seasons Hotel Dublin's ICE Bar launched new Irish art collection
Hilary Eustace’s Looking West Art Exhibition
Dublin, Ireland, 2014-2-27 — /Travel PR News/ — ICE Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Dublin has launched a new art collection showcasing the work of Irish artists that will open this weekend starting with Galway based painter Hilary Eustace and her exhibition called Looking West.
“This exhibition offers our guests an opportunity to support Irish talent and engage with the vibrant local art scene on their doorstep,” says Robert Nolan, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Dublin.
The exhibition by Hilary Eustace features landscapes from Connemara, painted in oil. She is hugely influenced by the works of Markey Robinson and is particularly interested in landscape, both inhabited and wild. Movement and drama are conveyed through the bold use of colour, and detail is somewhat eschewed in favour of the abstract, but the scenes are always recognizably, unmistakably, Galway.
The exhibition in ICE Bar is open to the residents and non-residents alike and features fourteen paintings available to view/purchase and runs until mid July 2014. Prices start from EUR 400.00.
There is one additional painting on view called Sandymount Strand, which is being auctioned at the Mater Charity Ball at Four Seasons Hotel Dublin on March 7, 2014 to raise money for St. Vincent de Paul. Bids invited from EUR 800.00 direct to Llawlor@mater.ie.
