Hong Kong, China, 2013-09-30 — /travelprnews.com/ — Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong announces the appointment of Fabrice Vulin as Caprice Chef. Decorated with awards and with vast experience from Michelin-starred kitchens across France, Vulin moves to Hong Kong in November 2013 with his first new Caprice menu expected to be plated and presented in early 2014.
Hailing from Briançon, France, Vulin has spent the majority of his career in his homeland with additional tenures in both Geneva and Morocco. His most recent residency was at Relais & Chateaux hotel Château de la Chèvre d’Or in Eze in the south of France, where he held the position of executive chef and sustained the pre-existing, much-coveted two Michelin star award at La Chèvre d’Or for the duration of his three years in service.
Since Vincent Thierry’s departure from Caprice, the kitchen and restaurant continue to run seamlessly under the guardian eyes of Director of Restaurants Jeremy Evrard; Caprice Sous Chefs Cyril Boulais, Aaron Li and Chun Wai Law; and Caprice Pastry Chef Marike van Beurden.
Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong William Mackay says of the arrival of Vulin: “We are delighted to welcome such a talented Frenchman to Caprice, to work with our incredible team of chefs, sommeliers and restaurateurs. We greatly look forward to his first new menu early next year and to welcoming both loyal and new guests to Caprice under its new culinary leader.”
Further information on Chef Fabrice Vulin will be issued as he begins his appointment at Caprice.
