Eurostar launches great value sale fares to nearly 60 French destinations

LONDON, 2016-Mar-09 — /Travel PR News/ — Eurostar is offering travellers the chance to see more of France for less, with great value sale fares to nearly 60 French destinations. From 8-21 March, tickets are available from just £37 each way, for travel between 21st March and 2nd June*.

From tasting bubbly in Champagne to enjoying fresh seafood on the Cote d’Azur, the wide range of scenery and sights makes it easy for everyone to find their perfect piece of France – all easily accessible by high-speed rail. With a simple connection in Lille or Paris, passengers can choose from 60 destinations including:

About Eurostar

  • Eurostar is the high-speed train service linking St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International, Ashford International, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais, Disneyland Resort Paris, Avignon and the French Alps.
  • The current Eurostar train was first introduced into service in 1994 carrying 750 passengers and operating at speeds of up to 300kph.  Since then, the fleet of 28 trains has carried more than 150 million passengers between London and the Continent.  Following their refurbishment these trains will continue to form a core part of the Eurostar fleet.   • Eurostar and Eurotunnel are entirely separate companies.  Eurostar operates high-speed passenger trains, while Eurotunnel operates vehicle shuttle services and the Channel Tunnel itself. Eurostar is Eurotunnel’s biggest customer.
