(PRESS RELEASE) JAKARTA, Indonesia, 2025-Apr-24 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates has officially opened its newly reimagined Travel Store in Jakarta, setting a new standard for customer engagement and personalized travel services in Indonesia. Located in Sequis Tower, the 221-square-meter space blends luxury, innovation, and the airline’s signature hospitality to offer travelers an immersive, full-service experience long before they reach the airport.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Far East, alongside H.E. Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, with esteemed trade partners and media in attendance.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our elevated retail concept in Jakarta,” said Orhan Abbas. “This Travel Store is more than a booking center—it’s a destination where travelers can experience the Emirates brand up close, receive personalized support, and begin their journeys with ease, confidence, and style.”

Where Service Meets Sophistication
Designed to offer a seamless blend of comfort and service, the new Emirates Travel Store invites customers into a modern, relaxing environment complete with contemporary furnishings, plush seating, and a curated collection of Emirates-branded merchandise and travel accessories. At the heart of the space is a dedicated lounge-like atmosphere, where guests can await one-on-one consultations with trained travel advisors.

The store features four customer service counters, each staffed by knowledgeable Emirates advisors ready to assist with flight bookings, itinerary planning, ticketing, and Skywards inquiries. Enhancing the customer journey, a voice-activated selfie screen at the entrance allows guests to take photos with dynamic backdrops of Emirates destinations, with images retrievable via QR code.

A focal point of the space is the Ghaf tree wall installation—a symbol of heritage and endurance in the UAE—set above a large LED screen showcasing Emirates’ latest updates, destinations, and special offers.

For added convenience, Emirates’ Jakarta Travel Store debuts an advanced queue management system, streamlining the consultation process. The system enables shorter wait times, provides personalized services for Skywards members, and even invites guests to share feedback via WhatsApp—ushering in a new era of digital-first customer care.

Continued Growth in Indonesia
Emirates has proudly served Indonesia for over 30 years, with double daily flights operating from Jakarta and Denpasar to Dubai and onward to more than 140 global destinations. The airline also offers the only daily scheduled A380 service to Bali, significantly enhancing seat capacity to and from the region.

The Jakarta opening follows similar launches in Hong Kong and Manila, and represents Emirates’ expanding footprint across Asia, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and innovation in every region it serves.
