(PRESS RELEASE) Dubai, UAE, 2024-Sep-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates Airlines concluded its largest-ever commercial gathering this week with the 2024 Passenger Sales Conference, held in Dubai under the theme “Next Era – Equip, Embrace, Excel.” The four-day event brought together over 850 members of the airline’s global commercial team for a series of forward-thinking discussions aimed at preparing the airline for its next phase of growth.
The conference served as a platform for Emirates’ leadership to share their strategic vision and engage with teams on plans to further expand the airline’s fleet, network, and product offerings. With an emphasis on innovation, growth, and excellence, the event was highlighted by keynote speeches from the airline’s executive leaders and industry experts.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, presented the prestigious Chairman Sales Award, recognizing top performers from the commercial division.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, spoke about the airline’s bold growth plans: “This conference is a blueprint for how we will drive our strategic initiatives forward. During the second day of the conference, Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and Country Management, presented the airline’s strategic sales priorities, followed by a panel discussion with Kazim and Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, on strengthening the Emirates-flydubai partnership.
On day three, Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Brand, spotlighted the importance of the Emirates brand in reaching new audiences. Updates on the future of Al Maktoum International Airport were also shared.
The final day focused on Dubai’s future growth, with His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, addressing the audience on the city’s D33 ambitions. Experts from the tourism and economic sectors provided insights into the future of Dubai as a premier global destination.
Emirates’ strong performance in the last financial year, marked by record profits and expanded operations, sets the stage for future growth. With a commitment to delivering superior customer experiences, the airline is investing billions into upgrading over 200 A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. New destinations, including Bogota and Madagascar, have been added to its expanding network, with more cities to benefit from the airline’s refurbished Premium Economy cabins.
