Leeds, UK, 2014-2-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Fourteen PA’s and travel bookers were flown to Glasgow from Leeds Bradford Airport to demonstrate the ease of flying directly to Scotland from Yorkshire’s gateway airport with Flybe. The delegates experienced a day trip in Scotland’s largest city to sample how easily the regions businesses can travel to Scotland and back in the same day.
The group included representatives from Yorkshire Building Society, PwC, Grant Thornton, British Library, Kirklees College and Logistik Group.
The group took off from Leeds Bradford at 08:45, arriving in Glasgow just 65 minutes later at 09:50, allowing them to enjoy a full day in the city before departing back to Leeds Bradford at 17:15, arriving at 18:20.
During the trip, delegates indulged in Glasgow’s leisure offering by relaxing at the award winning Blythswood Square, a luxury spa hotel in the city centre. Glasgow Chauffeur Drive transported the group to the hotel for an afternoon tea treat.

“I was impressed with the flight service we received, the stewards were very friendly and accommodating, I couldn’t have asked for more. The whole trip was so effortless and time saving; I don’t know why anyone would choose other methods of transport to get to Glasgow.”
