Deutsche Hospitality is the first hotel chain to offer all hotel guests quick and medically authorised online coronavirus tests with immediate effect
Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2021-Jun-24 — /Travel PR News/ — We take care: As part of its Safe Travel Campaign, Deutsche Hospitality is immediately introducing an option which will permit all hotel guests in Germany to undergo a rapid and physician-authorised digital coronavirus test. The new scheme is being run in conjunction with “onlineschnelltest.de” of the company DLMC GmbH. A test kit complete with security seal can be purchased at reception for a fixed price of €4.50. Guests pay a further €9.99 to reserve an appointment online, and the test is then conducted in the presence of a properly qualified healthcare professional. The result is sent out by e-mail together with a doctor’s certificate.
“This facility to provide rapid digital coronavirus tests represents a further expansion of our hygiene and safety concept,” explained Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of Deutsche Hospitality. “Such a service also fulfils the performance commitment our customers are entitled to expect from a good host.” The rapid digital coronavirus test thus constitutes a valuable extension of Deutsche Hospitality’s existing safety concept, which already encompasses the most stringent hygiene standards, contact restrictions, the launch of the Luca app and further protective measures for guests and employees alike.
“Digitally observed rapid tests offer travelers maximum flexibility without having to leave the hotel room. This means that activities which require testing, such as attending cultural events or indoor dining, can be prepared for conveniently and quickly. Due to our sophisticated security concept, our standards exceed those of many physical testing sites,” stated the medical director of the rapid testing center, Dr. Nicola Breithaupt.
