BUFFALO, NY, 2022-May-05 — /Travel PR News/ — The culinary teams from Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group restaurants Space 220 and Morimoto Asia in Orlando recently participated in the annual Appetite for Arches event, with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida (RMHCCF).
Teams from each restaurant joined top chefs from around Central Florida in putting their creativity to the test and creating gourmet delicacies with their own culinary flair, all incorporating staple McDonald’s ingredients for a black-tie gala. Attendees enjoyed the elevated dishes with unlimited tastings, an open bar, entertainment, a silent auction and more.
The Morimoto Asia team, which consisted of Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga, Sous Chef Juan Arrubla and several other associates, created Menchi McNuggets (McDonald’s all-beef patty and A-5 wagyu blend panko-crusted burger with next-level Big Mac sauce) and a Clear Gazpacho Bloody Mary (Haku vodka with clear carbonated gazpacho, garnished with bacon-wrapped fries).
The Space 220 team, which included Executive Chef Marc Kusche, Sous Chef Jared Coates, General Manager Seth Rose and Senior Steward Manager James Calamanco, made Space Cristo (fried ham and cheese sandwich with savory mocha sauce).
The event raised $182,000 for RMHCCF, whose mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
