Preparing For Your Trip

Book your trip as early as possible and take advantage of great holiday fares. You can always find fare deals on CVG’s web-site.

Save time and money when you park at one of CVG’s three on-airport parking facilities. CVG gets you from our long-term parking lot to the terminal in 4 minutes or less.

Our 160 volunteer Airport Ambassadors will be out in the Terminal and Concourses to answer questions and help improve the overall experience of our passengers traveling for the holidays. Look for the Airport Ambassadors at the Information Booths located in each Concourse and Baggage Claim.

“Helping passengers find their gate, a place to eat or that last minute gift is very rewarding,” said Charlie Yancey, Airport Ambassador. “I have volunteered at CVG for over 15 years, and still enjoy coming to work every day — to improve at least one person’s trip is thanks in itself.”

Traveling with children or just need a little extra time, follow the signs for the family assisted security lane where benches and tables are available to assist passengers.

Need something to do?  CVG offers a broad mix of retail and dining options from a sit-down meal, food on the go or specialty merchandise for that perfect gift. Free Wi-Fi is available including plenty of outlets to recharge all your electronics before the flight.

Security Tips

For protection against lost luggage, label your bags inside and out with your contact information. Be sure to include the address and phone number of your destination.

Weapons may not be carried aboard the aircraft. This includes replicas, toy weapons and anything that can be mistaken for a weapon. Check tsa.gov for a list of approved items.

Be prepared to remove blazers, coats and bulky sweaters and activate any electronic or battery-powered equipment as part of the security inspection. This includes laptops, music players, games and phones.

Do not wrap gifts that you plan to carry onboard. If a security officer needs to inspect a package they may have to unwrap your gift.
