Enhanced Technology, Expanded Portfolio Offerings and Better Client Service all Cited as Key Program Benefits
Los Angeles, CA., 2014-7-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Concur (Nasdaq: CNQR), the world’s leading provider of spend management solutions and services, announced today its Travel Management Company (TMC) Preferred Partner program has grown by more than three-fold over the last twelve months. The increase in participants is a testament to the benefits that TMCs and their clients experience through Concur’s open platform technology stack. See the full list of partners here.
“When we launched this program, we committed to being the trusted technology partner to the TMC community, providing TMCs with unique client solutions. The rapid growth of the program reflects the success of this strategy and we are looking forward to working with the new partners,” said Tim MacDonald, Concur’s EVP of Platform and Data Services. “Further evidence of our position as a trusted technology partner is the rapid adoption of our newer products including TripLink and TMC Messaging. In fact, just last week we learned that our TMC Preferred Partner Christopherson just became the first TMC to resell TripLink at the University of Washington! We will continue to focus on technology that drives agency efficiency and delights clients.”
Feedback from the initial group of TMC Preferred Partners has been very positive regarding participation in the program. TMC Partners cite early input into product development, enhanced client solutions, significant investment in technology infrastructure and market differentiation as key benefits of TMC Preferred Partner participation. As we integrate our technology platform we are finding ways the products work together to provide additional benefits to TMCs, clients and travelers. New capabilities around seat selections and auto-ticketing are two areas that will be advanced in coming releases.
“In 2008, World Travel Service, Inc. made the strategic decision to partner exclusively with Concur, becoming expert on all of Concur’s products,” stated Lamar Shuler, President, World Travel Service, Inc. “Internally we use Concur Travel & Expense including ExpenseIt and TripLink. Our partnership has provided us the opportunity to deliver a much higher level of service to our customers. As Concur has grown its product portfolio to include quality control, traveler risk management, and management reporting, our partnership has also expanded. This expansion has enabled us to deliver increased savings, improved traveler safety, and an overall greater traveler experience.”
The benefits of the TMC Preferred Partner program will be highlighted in the Concur booth (#1725) at the GBTA 2014 Convention in Los Angeles.
