SAN FRANCISCO – 2013-02-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — San Francisco International Airport has commenced the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Boarding Area E Newsstand Lease, A Small Business Enterprise Set-Aside, and invites you to attend the Informational Conference on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at San Francisco International Airport, SFO Business Center, 575 N. McDonnell Road, 2nd Floor, Accounting Conference Room. This is a time when staff will discuss desired concept, minimum qualification requirements, address any questions relating to this Lease and receive comments from participants.
This Lease, intended for the nonexclusive sale of merchandise reflective of a newsstand, is comprised of one (1) retail location measuring approximately 493 square feet in Terminal 3, Boarding Area “E”. The lease term is seven years. The minimum acceptable proposal amount, which will also be the successful Proposer’s minimum annual guarantee for the first year of the Lease, is $175,000. Annual Rent shall be the higher of the Minimum Annual Guarantee or the sum of the percentage rent structured as follows: 12% of Gross Revenues achieved up to $500,000.00; plus, 14% of gross revenues achieved from $500,000.01 up to and including $1,000,000.00; plus 16% of gross revenues achieved over $1,000,000.00.
