Hong Kong, 2017-Jul-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Mandarin Oriental, Taipei has received two awards from prestigious Taiwan financial newspaper, Commercial Times, at the 2017 Taiwan Service Awards. The hotel won “Best Service: Gold Award” in the hotel category and “Best of the Best Award” at Taiwan’s “Oscars” for the service industry. The hotel’s Duty Manager, Tien Lee, was recognised as “Service Elite” for her commitment to providing outstanding service.
The Commercial Times accolades follow the award of a five-star rating to the hotel from Forbes Travel Guide, earlier in 2017. Guests can experience Mandarin Oriental, Taipei’s exemplary service, accommodation, spa and dining by booking the hotel’s Gourmet Retreat room package, an exclusive offer that gives travellers the best opportunity for exploring this iconic landmark in one of Asia’s great cities.
Established by Commercial Times in 2012, the annual Taiwan Service Awards uses mystery guests verified by international inspection experts, SGS, to evaluate levels of service provided by 405 companies operating in 32 industries across the country.
“These recognitions serve as a testimony to our commitment to deliver legendary quality service to all guests from around the world. Our mission is to delight our guests each and every day, and we are honoured to be recognised as the leading hospitality brand in Taiwan,” said Michael Ziemer, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Taipei.
Guests booking the Gourmet Retreat package will stay in an elegant guestroom or suite, and enjoy one set dinner for two at Bencotto, Ya Ge or Café Un Deux Trois, and daily classic breakfast for two. Rates start from TWD 12,800 per night.
The Gourmet Retreat package is valid until 20 December 2017, and a minimum two-night stay is required. Room rates are subject to 10% service charge and 5% tax. Advance reservation is required, and package offers are subject to availability and cannot be used with any other discount offer.
