Eleven blockbuster films help celebrate summer’s biggest events and mark some 2015 milestones
CHICAGO, 2015-5-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Chicagoans and visitors alike are invited to enjoy outdoor movies downtown as the popular Summer Film Series returns toMillennium Park, Tuesdays, June 23 – September 1, at 6:30pm. Guests may take a seat at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion or lounge on the Great Lawn as crowd-pleasing movies are presented on a state-of-the-art, 40-foot LED screen.
This year the series celebrates important milestones for several films and also gets movie-goers in the spirit for many favorite Chicago summer festivals and special events. Visitors will time travel to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future on June 23; feast on Big Night on July 7 to kick-off the 35th Annual Taste of Chicago; and soar to new heights with The Aviator on August 11 in advance of the 57th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show presented by Shell.
