Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events to host free summer workouts at Millennium Park

Chicagoans and visitors will enjoy outdoor Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba® classes all summer

CHICAGO, 2015-5-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Jump start your weekend with the Summer Workouts in Millennium Park on Saturdays, June 6–September 5, beginning at 7am. Guests are invited to stretch, kick and dance the summer away each Saturday as instructors take them through Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba® classes accompanied by live music and drumming. All workouts are FREE and take place on the Great Lawn. Throughout the summer, the 45-minute classes are taught by different instructors, offering variety and excitement.

Additionally, for Chicagoans and visitors looking for a midweek workout, Wednesday Yoga returns this year on Wednesdays, June 3–September 2, 7:30–8:15am.

Summer Workouts are produced by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events with grant support provided by McDonald’s Active Lifestyles Endowment, managed by the Millennium Park Foundation.
