Contest Information Available in this Week’s Time Out Chicago
2012-10-12 — /travelprnews.com/ — Chicago Artists Month offers aspiring artists an opportunity to have lunch with one of the 19 Featured Artists, highlighted by the citywide collaborative art event. Each year, the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) dedicates the month of October to shining a spotlight on Chicago’s visual arts community, highlighting some of its most innovative artists.
The chance to win lunch with an artist is highlighted in this week’s Time Out Chicago (October 11-17 edition.) There will be 10 winners who will win the chance to have lunch with a featured artist or artists at a specially selected Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. Pairings are determined by Time Out Chicago and the City of Chicago’s DCASE.
Chicago Artists Month’s Featured Artists work in a variety of mediums that include sculpture, traditional painting, animation, murals and illustrations, and unique concepts such as Cigar Box Guitars, ceramic and glass totems, and stitching covers for handmade books.
