A Celebration for All Ages and Tastes at Wit & Wisdom
Ideal for families and groups of all ages, Wit & Wisdom’s Fourth of July Celebration will feature musical entertainment, prime views of the harbor, and Americana fare. Executive Chef Clay Miller and his team will present food stations featuring down home mainstays including fried chicken, pit beef sandwiches, pulled pork BBQ, grilled brats, shrimp cocktail and oysters. Adventurous riffs on nostalgic sides include grilled corn slathered with Old Bay butter, BBQ eggplant, and tamarind baked beans. For lighter fare, a selection of salads will be available including a watermelon, feta, chili and lime salad. Not to be missed, a variety of classic summer desserts will be prepared by Chef Chris Ford.
At the bar, revellers can toast to the good ‘ole USA with Red, White and Blue Sangria along with featured wine and specialty cocktails. AHeavy Seas beer garden will also be on-site where diners will get a sneak preview of the new summer releases from the Maryland brewery. A kids’ activity zone in LAMILL COFFEE will offer the 12-and-under crowd entertainment and a kids’ buffet will suit the needs of tiny taste buds.
Seating is first come, first serve. Reserved table seating is available with the overnight Hotel room package. Foodie Festival at PABU
At PABU, gourmands and novices alike will dine on a feast prepared by some of the region’s top culinary talent. Executive Chef Jonah Kim will welcome guest chefs Kyle Bailey of Birch & Barley, Tiffany MacIsaac of Neighborhood Restaurant Group, and Will Morris of Vermilion to prepare a four-course, family-style meal including a shellfish platter, salads and a BBQ platter of ribs, chicken and fish. In addition to this exciting culinary journey, guests will be able to order from PABU’s full sushi menu.
