CDA 2015 Airports Going Green conference will bring together airport leaders on Sunday, October 25, 2015

CHICAGO, 2015-6-3 — /Travel PR News/ — Are you planning to attend the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) 2015 Airports Going Green conference? Make sure to join us on Sunday, October 25, as Prabh Banga, Manager of Strategy Development and Corporate Sustainability for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, leads a Sustainability Reporting Workshop.

The workshop will bring together airport leaders to explore the benefits and challenges of airport sustainability reporting framework, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, the Sustainable Airport Manual (SAM), and more.  Participants will gain a better understanding of the sustainability reporting process and obtain guidance for deciding the most relevant framework for their own sustainability reports.  The workshop is free for Conference attendees.

Banga leads the development and delivery of Toronto Pearson International Airport’s sustainability strategy.  Her key responsibilities include developing corporate sustainability goals, sustainability reporting using GRI, and employee engagement.

The 8th Annual Airports Going Green (AGG) Conference will be held October 25-28, 2015, at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. The Conference begins with the Sunday October 25workshop, followed by general sessions on Monday and Tuesday October 26 and 27, concluding with an airfield tour and sponsored reception on Wednesday October 28.
