2013-01-02 — /travelprnews.com/ — From January, Cathay Pacific is exclusively showing popular Cantonese television drama series onboard. The series, produced by leading local TV station Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), further enhance the entertainment selection available for passengers.
Cathay Pacific is the first airline to offer TVB drama series onboard with new TV drama programming being added each month to the airline’s Inflight Entertainment (IFE) library StudioCX on aircraft equipped with Audio and Video on Demand system (AVOD). The first title being introduced is one of the biggest hits of 2012 – Tiger Cubs – and passengers will be able to view episodes 1 to 4 in January.

StudioCX offers passengers an enchanting array of entertainment options. The extended library of StudioCX features 100+ Hollywood blockbuster and Asian Hit movies, 500+ Western and Asian TV programmes, 888 music CDs, 22 radio channels, and programmes in nine languages – in all classes.
