Phoenix Resort Offers Golf Clinics and Stays with Luxury Accommodations

PHOENIX, Ariz., 2013-02-01 — /travelprnews.com/ — While most states are still battling chilly temperatures, Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort will host monthly clinics, taking advantage of the sunny weather in Arizona. With low spring room rates, visitors from the north and east can take advantage of the warmer temperatures to improve their golf game.

With overnight suite rates starting from $177 in February and March and from $160 in April, golfers can enjoy a weekend stay at the Phoenix resort, coordinated with the dates of the monthly golf clinics at Lookout Mountain. Visitors can also enjoy some R&R with massages, body treatments and facials at Tocaloma Spa and lounging poolside at the Falls Water Village.

Lookout Mountain’s golf clinics, available for $20 per participant, will be taught in a small group class format to ensure every student receives individual attention from the PGA professional instructors. The 45-minute clinics will begin at 10:30 a.m. Following each clinic, the driving range will be available for participants to practice their skills. Space is limited and reservations are required.

The scheduled clinics are:

• Feb. 16 – Short Game Skills: pitching, sand shots and on-course etiquette
• March 16 – Full Swing: The “illusions” of the golf swing
• April 20 – Uneven Lies: Learn to hit the ball on an uneven slope

Weaving through the rugged terrain that borders the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Lookout Mountain Golf Club provides golfers both a challenging game and spectacular views of surrounding mountains.
