Bahrain, 2017-Apr-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), led a delegation to Malaysia , headed by Bahrain Airport Company Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, and organised in partnership with the national carrier, Gulf Air.
The visit aimed at strengthening ties, exploring further partnership opportunities, learning the latest about the Malaysian airline industry and the exchange of expertise in the field of aviation.
The delegation met with the senior management teams of Malaysian airports and officials from Malaysian airport companies, to discuss cooperation opportunities facilitated by the Airport Modernization Program (AMP), which is scheduled for completion in 2019.
BAC is the authority responsible for enhancing BIA and increasing the airport’s contribution to the local economy in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. In its operational role, BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s operations, infrastructure and services. This is set to improve BIA’s capabilities and cater to the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of stakeholders.
