Now, the resort is inviting its Instagram followers to vote for their favorite theme, which will shape the holiday celebrations for 2024.
The voting will take place on the resort’s Instagram account, @AvaniMaldives, starting on October 15 at 10 AM MVT. Followers will have 24 hours to participate in the exclusive poll, and the AI-generated theme that garners the most votes will become the centerpiece of the resort’s festive activities. The winning theme will be revealed on October 16.
The first theme, Tropical Wonderland, envisions the Maldivian coastline transformed into a magical winter paradise, complete with a grand Christmas tree reaching towards the palm trees. The tree is elegantly decorated with shimmering ornaments, seashells, and coral-inspired flowers, all aglow with fairy lights, while flickering candles light the pathways leading to the beach.
Next, the Candy Cane Christmas theme promises to delight with oversized, striped candy canes that tower like trees. These imaginative designs, crafted by AI, include whimsical shapes that double as beach beanbags and street lamps, creating a vibrant atmosphere infused with joy and nostalgia, perfect for cozy gatherings around a campfire.
The Frosted Paradise theme brings to life a winter wonderland, reminiscent of snowy landscapes in Lapland. Guests can envision snow castles on the beach and sipping eggnog in twinkling gazebos, all while enjoying the beauty of an igloo and the enchanting Northern Lights.
Finally, Santa’s Surf Shack offers a relaxed vibe, ideal for guests from warmer climates celebrating Christmas with barbecues and ocean swims.
