  • An exclusive new competition on the theme of Mark Osborne’s new movie The Little Prince;
  • The winning movie of the French Cuts Collection by Air France competition is revealed.

PARIS, 2015-6-25 — /Travel PR News/ — This summer, Air France is offering its 6,000,000 fans on social networks* the opportunity to take part in original and innovative events on the theme of two cinema-related symbols of France.

DRAW ME “THE LITTLE PRINCE AND AN AIRPLANE”

Air France is the official partner of Mark Osborne’s film The Little Prince, in cinemas as from 29 July 2015 in France and very soon worldwide. To celebrate the release of the movie inspired by the hugely successful book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Air France is organizing a major new competition on its social networks. There are many different prizes to be won, including a long-haul family trip!

As from 23 June 2015, parents are invited to send their children’s drawings on the theme of “Draw me The Little Prince and an airplane”. Then, as from 27 July 2015 and for one week, Air France will publish the best drawings on its social networks and will also use them to answer its fans with messages about the film’s release, the Company’s offer for families and answers to customers’ questions. A perfect opportunity for Air France to reveal its child’s spirit at the height of summer.

In October 2015, Air France will be the first airline in the world to exclusively show the movie on board its long-haul flights.

THE WINNING MOVIE OF THE FRENCH CUTS COLLECTION BY AIR FRANCE COMPETITION IS REVEALED

At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, of which Air France has been the official carrier since 1980, the Company organized an exclusive competition on its social networks: French Cuts Collection by Air France.

Anyone could share their scriptwriting talents on the website frenchcuts-by-airfrance.com to try to win a trip to Cannes. Among more than 2,000 scripts received, the name of the winner was announced by Claude Lelouch, a member of the event’s official jury. Joshua McVey, who lives in Canada, won a trip to the Cannes Film Festival and the chance to see Air France make his film.

Today, having produced and directed the winner’s film, Air France can exclusively reveal the movie.

“The pleasure of travelling with Air France starts well before boarding our aircraft. With these exclusive events available to everyone on our social networks, we want to delight globetrotters both young and old with original prizes, as well as promote the art of French-style travel all over the world. Playing with the most beautiful symbols of French culture is also in line with our new signature “Air France, France is in the Air”,” declared Adeline Challon-Kemoun, EVP Marketing, Digital and Communication, Air France-KLM.
