Aerolineas Argentinas has incorporated fifteen new buses at the air terminal for the transfer of passengers

Buenos Aires, 2012-12-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Airports of Ezeiza and Aeroparque will be operating new busses to transfer passengers flying with Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral.

The brand new units were presented by Aerolineas Argentinass CEO, Mariano Recalde, in a ceremony that counted with the presence of the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers, Juan Manuel Abal Medina; the Deputy Minister of economy, Axel Kicillof; the Undersecretary of commercial air transport, Manuel Baladron; and the head of ORSNA, Guillermo Vitali.

On the occasion, Recalde said  we are putting into operation the new fleet of buses for the transport of passengers at all airports, it is on more investment by the National State, which will allow us not only to change the image (you can see the quality of these Busses zero km) but will allow us to improve with much more comfortable and faster service and will continue to support the growth that Aerolíneas Argentinas is having, since the President decided to be responsible for air transport in Argentina.

The incorporation of these fifteen last generation busses that will be added, will replace the old existing units which are more than six years old.

Buses, for the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers, are a fundamental element for day-to-day operations providing greater comfort and affect
contribute to the on time compliance of flight times.

Of the new fifteen buses, ten will be destined to the aeroparque Jorge Newbery and five to Ezeiza; While the current twelve that the company has, will be reconditioned and destined to airports in the interior where this service is outsourced.

This renewal joins other major investments by Aerolineas Argentinas, in the ramp sector, such as incorporation of tractors, Frost equipment at airports affected by

The brand-new units are equipped with engines of the latest generation which comply with international standards for the care of the environment and were built entirely in the country.

The buses are mounted on Mercades Benz chassis , model smart OH 1718/62 L-SB, Low Entry (low-floor), with pneumatic suspension which allows lowering the suspension and facilitate access to the car. They have automatic gearbox, air conditioning cold/heat, five side doors, accommodate more than 70 passengers and luggage and airport beacons and communications equipment systems.
