To mark the occasion the Aer Lingus loyalty club is rewarding its current members with special offers and prizes and encouraging new members to join as part of AerClub’s birthday month.
Ireland’s largest travel loyalty programme, AerClub, aims to provide a best-in-class loyalty programme that recognises the Aer Lingus frequent flyer, rewarding members’ engagement through innovative features, tangible value, and personalised experiences. Since the introduction of Pay with Avios in 2019, AerClub members have saved over €6million flying with Aer Lingus using their Avios.
AerClub want to thank their loyal members by offering 25% off the Avios amount for flights on aerlingus.com and the Aer Lingus app for one week only*, providing members with great value on Avios redemptions on all flights booked before 7th November 2021. Members will also be given the chance to win exciting prizes through the AerClub birthday month including retail vouchers (Kildare Village, SuperValu, Appleby, Avis, Marriott Bonvoy & Decathlon), flights, Avios, a three-night city break and more.
AerClub is free to join and enables Aer Lingus customers reap rewards not only when travelling with the airline but with simple everyday purchases.
AerClub is the first Irish airline loyalty programme to give its members the opportunity to collect Avios ‘in the air’ each time they fly, ‘on the ground’ with partners such as SuperValu, Kildare Village and Decathlon , and ‘online’ via the AerClub eStore which is home to hundreds of top name retail brands, hotels and more, across Ireland, Europe and North America, allowing members to collect Avios for every euro, dollar or pound they spend.

AerClub has enlisted over 1.5m members over the past five years including members based in Ireland, the US and across the UK and Europe, with 22% actively redeeming their Avios in the last year despite the pandemic. Even with travel restrictions implemented over the past 18 months, AerClub has welcomed new members each week with 17,000 members signed up to AerClub over the past four weeks alone.
AerClub is made up of four membership tiers – Green, Silver, Platinum and Concierge. Each tier has a unique combination of travel benefits which may include lounge access, priority check in, priority boarding and bonus Avios earning. In recognition of each Aer Lingus flight taken, AerClub awards Tier Credits – the more Tier Credits collected, the quicker members will move up to the next membership tier and the more travel benefits they will enjoy.

AerClub members will collect Avios each time they buy a flight with Aer Lingus and its partner airlines – British Airways, and United Airlines.
On the ground
AerClub has teamed up with a number of partners to ensure members can collect Avios in lots of ways – weekly shop at SuperValu, retail therapy at Kildare Village, a getaway to the five-star Merrion Hotel or a chauffeur with Devine’s Chauffeur Service for a special occasion, together with other retail partners such as Holidays with Aer Lingus, and hotel providers such as Agoda, Kaligo.com and Rocketmiles.

Online shopping via the AerClub eStore also allows members to collect Avios with over 100 top name Irish and international brands.
