(PRESS RELEASE) AMALFI, Italy, 2025-Apr-4 — /Travel PR News/ — Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, set in a 13th-century Capuchin monastery carved into the cliffside, is inviting guests to step away from the hustle of modern life and embrace the tranquility of convent living. With luxurious accommodations in former monks’ quarters, breathtaking views over the Mediterranean, and indulgent spa and dining experiences inspired by the Amalfi region, the hotel offers a unique retreat where history and modern luxury converge.
In celebration of self-care and rejuvenation, the hotel is launching its upcoming Convent Wellness Weeks with visiting practitioner Beatrice Adochitei from 4 to 15 May. These special wellness sessions are designed to help guests and visitors reconnect with nature and rediscover their inner balance through a multi-sensory program. Beatrice, an expert in a wide range of movement and healing modalities—including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Myofascial Release, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, and Mat Pilates—will lead both group and private sessions. Her immersive approach also incorporates guided meditation and breathwork to foster deep relaxation.

During the Convent Wellness Weeks, in-house guests can enjoy complimentary daily group sessions featuring yoga, mat pilates, and sound healing. For those seeking a more tailored experience, private sessions are available covering various disciplines to suit all abilities. External visitors have the option to choose from two packages: the Convent Wellness Day Package, which includes a detox welcome drink, a yoga or pilates session combined with sound healing, a relaxing body treatment at Anantara Spa, and lunch at La Locanda della Canonica; or the Convent Wellness Immersion Package, offering a two-night stay complete with a detox welcome drink, daily healthy breakfast, one yoga and one pilates session (each with sound healing), a healthy grill dinner at La Locanda della Canonica, and a rejuvenating body treatment at the spa.
General Manager Estelle Vassallo expressed her excitement about the initiative, stating, “We are very excited to welcome guests and visitors at this very special time. Wellness is at the heart of our offering here, and these dedicated experiences are designed for travellers looking to reboot and regenerate their mind, body, and soul while creating unforgettable memories in this historic setting.”
Wellness sessions will take place both amid the hotel’s historic cloister and terraces and at Anantara Spa, a serene 125-square-metre retreat featuring a hammam, emotional shower, couple’s treatment rooms with sauna and steam room, and dedicated relaxation areas. Signature treatments such as the “Anantara Citrus Massage Experience” and the “Convento di Amalfi Journey” highlight the local Amalfi flavors with lemon essential oils and scrubs provided by local supplier La Selva di Positano. Additionally, guests can work out al fresco at the panoramic outdoor gym located above the famous Walk of the Monks, where the Mediterranean sparkles in the distance and lemon-scented breezes keep the space cool.
