45 Park Lane’s Penthouse Suite wins European Hospitality Awards’ ‘Best Hotel Suite’

2012-11-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — On Friday 2 November 2012, 45 Park Lane’s Penthouse Suite, the top suite within Dorchester Collection’s new contemporary Mayfair hotel, was awarded ‘Best Hotel Suite’ at the annual European Hospitality Awards. The hotel’s focus on modern technology was also shortlisted for ‘Hotel Technology of the Year’ and Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at 45 Park Lane was included within the ‘Best Hotel Restaurant’ category.

In association with Hotel Management International, the European Hospitality Awards recognise excellence in hotel development and management and celebrate the extraordinary and exceptional hotels throughout Europe. Opened in September 2011, 45 Park Lane was the ninth hotel to join Dorchester Collection and its spectacular Penthouse Suite includes a wrap around terrace offering panoramic views across London. Alongside the other 45 spacious rooms and suites, CUT at 45 Park Lane is Wolfgang Puck’s first venture in Europe and is already becoming one of the city’s most in-demand foodie destinations.

Having secured two awards at last year’s ceremony; Roland Fasel, General Manager of The Dorchester and Regional Director UK as ‘Hotelier of the Year’; and Coworth Park recognised for its environment efforts with ‘Green Hotel of the Year 2011’, this year’s awards also saw The Spa at Coworth Park being shortlisted for ‘Hotel Spa of the Year’.

Commenting on the night’s successes, Roland Fasel said: ‘It is an honour to have so many elements of 45 Park Lane recognised here tonight, and to once more be included within the European Hospitality Awards. The Penthouse Suite was one of the first rooms to be booked when we opened on 1 September 2011, and it has been incredible to see the high level of praise and popularity 45 Park Lane has received to date.’
