Austrian Airlines adds Marrakech to its flight schedule in the winter of 2015

• Once per week to Morocco as of November 14, 2015

VIENNA, 2015-8-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Austrian Airlines will once again add a new tourist destination to its flight schedule in the winter of 2015. Starting on November 14, 2015, Austria’s national carrier will fly once per week to Marrakech in Morocco. “In addition to Miami, Mauritius and Colombo as new long-haul tourist destinations, we are now expanding our flight offering to medium-haul holiday destinations. In this way we compensate for the strong seasonality of our business, and offer passengers an interesting selection of sunny destinations both in the summer and winter months”, explains Andreas Otto, Chief Commercial Officer of Austrian Airlines.

Marrakech
Austrian Airlines will deploy an Airbus A319 on its flights to Marrakech, at a distance of around 3,200 km from Vienna. These flights operated on Saturdays will only be offered in the winter season from November 14, 2015 to April 2, 2016. Flight time from Vienna to Marrakech is about 4 hours 15 minutes.
