LISBON, Portugal , 2018-Feb-28 — /Travel PR News/ — The World Life Experience Event began on January 8th in Lisbon and is taking 12 participants, from diverse nationalities, to 28 different destinations from Europe to South America.
They will share their insights about each country visited and their experiences through social media. Their 10-day stay in each city includes some leisure activities but is mostly dedicated to interaction with a local organization and hands-on involvement with NGOs. Thus showing the world a very different approach to travel: see the world while helping those in need and making a difference.
The World Life Experience participants will collaborate directly with Zavod Povod Institution. Zavod Povod’s main activities concern intercultural dialogue through the implementation of activities in Slovenia and globally. Working toward global justice and development through art, education and fine cooperation, the Organization runs global education and awareness raising programs for a European audience and advocacy for the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals.
Their aim is to strengthen cross-sector cooperation to develop Civil Society organisations by building a partnership with the public, mainly to support young people grow their own initiatives and create social business enterprises.
After Ljubljana, the group will head to Prague to work with another association. The participants work as a whole and share their daily life, insights, and experiences with a worldwide audience, through the World Life Experience social media and website.
