Woodland Park Zoo celebrates Mother’s Day with half-price admission for moms on Saturday, May 7

SEATTLE, WA, 2016-Apr-21 — /Travel PR News/ — WHAT: Celebrate Mother’s Day at Woodland Park Zoo with the 26th annual Mom & Me on Saturday, May 7. Moms receive half-price admission to the zoo on the day of the event!

The Northwest family tradition features a day of fun for moms and families on the North Meadow including a bouncy house and rock climbing wall, crafts, and live entertainment by performers Arc Youth Dance Company, ArtRise Dance, BMA Klown Klub, Matt Henry, School of Rock: Little Wings Demonstration and School of Rock House Band.

Woodland Park Zoo is home to many mother-child duos! Some are furry, some are feathered, and some have four legs—but no matter the species, all these mothers work hard to care for their babies. Learn about the parenting behaviors of some of our animals with special keeper talks focused on maternal care.

Other Mom & Me activities include tiger and sloth bear enrichment at the Banyan Wilds exhibit, Raptors In Flight demonstrations, puppet shows in Zoomazium, and giraffe feedings (additional cost for feedings). Visit zoo.org/momandme to view the full schedule of activities.
