2013-01-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Wizz Air, Hungary’s largest airline, today announced 14 additional flights on its Budapest-Kiev route during February and March. Bookings on this route went up strongly since Aerosvit cancelled a number of flights to Kiev Borispol and passengers were forced to make alternative travel arrangements. Wizz Air operates three weekly flights from Budapest to the more convenient city airport in Kiev. The extra flights went on sale today on wizzair.com and will offer passengers an additional 2,500 seats to Kiev in February and March. From 14th March Wizz Air’s Budapest-Kiev route will operate daily. After Aerosvit’s flight cancellations Wizz Air had immediately launched rescue fares for stranded passengers and remains committed to offer Hungarian and Ukrainian passengers smooth and reliable low cost air transport.
