The service is scheduled to begin on 9 June 2026 and will operate four times per week throughout the summer season. The introduction of flights to Zadar represents a notable development for Wizz Air’s network growth, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to expanding connections between Central and Southern Europe. The new route strengthens the carrier’s presence in Poland while providing travellers from Warsaw and surrounding areas with additional affordable options for summer travel.
The service will enhance Wizz Air’s leisure offering from Warsaw Chopin Airport and responds to strong demand for direct holiday flights to Mediterranean destinations. Convenient schedules and competitive pricing are expected to make the Croatian coastal city more accessible to Polish travellers.
Located on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, Zadar is known for its historic old town, Mediterranean atmosphere and distinctive waterfront attractions. Visitors can explore cultural landmarks such as St. Donatus Church, the Roman Forum, and St. Anastasia’s Cathedral, as well as modern attractions including the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun installations. Flights on the new route will be operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft, which form a significant part of Wizz Air’s Polish fleet. Wizz Air continues to expand its operations in Poland, where it carried nearly 15 million passengers in 2025. From Warsaw Chopin Airport, the airline currently operates 67 routes to 27 countries, offering a broad selection of leisure and city-break destinations, particularly across Southern Europe.
During 2025, Wizz Air operated more than 26,000 flights from Warsaw Chopin Airport, carrying close to six million passengers, while improving on-time performance by 13.9 percent compared with the previous year.

Across Poland, Wizz Air operates 235 active routes to more than 30 countries, serving 12 airports including six operational bases and deploying 43 aircraft. In 2026, the airline expects to offer more than 20 million seats in the Polish market and maintains a market share of approximately 26 percent, ranking as the country’s second-largest airline.
