First 100 Skiers/Snowboarders Dressed Like Santa or Mrs. Claus Ski For Free
WHISTLER, BC, 2016-Dec-16 — /Travel PR News/ — ‘Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the resort, Santa was spotted skiing, his favourite sport. Santa and Mrs. Claus caught the first chair, in hopes that fresh tracks soon would be theirs.
Whistler Blackcomb’s annual Dress Like Santa Day returns in time for the holidays on Saturday, December 17. Skiers and riders of all ages are invited to dress like Santa or Mrs. Claus and bring Christmas cheer to the slopes. A free lift ticket will be awarded to the first 100 people to arrive at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC), at the base of Whistler Mountain, in full Santa or Mrs. Claus attire. No registration is necessary for this event; lift tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis.
All skiers and riders dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus will upload the Whistler Village Gondola at 8:00am, then ski or ride to the bottom of Emerald Express for a group photo and giveaways.
Santa’s elves will be distributing free samples of Coca-Cola Life from Santa’s sleigh outside the Roundhouse Lodge between 11:00am and 3:00pm. Coca-Cola Life is a new lower-calorie version of Coca-Cola that uses stevia and sugar as sweeteners.
