On arrival, guests will make their way through the worldly and historical rooms of the converted patrician houses property to the peaceful space on the garden level of the most historical building number 556 where the spa lies, which has direct access to the tranquil gardens. Soothing neutral colours inspired by Amsterdam’s artistic heritage will be used throughout the spa space and its treatment rooms. Each treatment will be transformed into a unique and personal occasion by highly skilled beauty therapists who will ensure a bespoke and boutique experience that will really reflect the Waldorf Astoria and Guerlain essence.
PERSONALISED TREATMENTS
At Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, Guerlain will create a haven of total relaxation and a journey of personal transformation, starting with a detailed diagnosis before leading on to the fully personalised treatment completely bespoke to the guests’ needs and expectations.
The treatment menu at the Guerlain spa will reflect the luxury feel of the elegant Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam with a collection of indulgent treatments. All therapies will respect the origins of Guerlain’s signature massage from 1939, when the brand opened its first ‘Institut de Beauté’ in Paris. Available treatments will include a Guerlain Signature Face & Body Treatment, a Signature Exclusive Treatment and the famous Guerlain Facials, which create a natural glowing effect on the skin. When each treatment ends, subtle make up can be applied, enabling guests to leave feeling revived and looking refreshed. Transforming half and full day spa experiences including ‘Blissful Radiance’ and ‘Sublime Deluxe’ will also be available to those wishing to unwind for longer.
As part of the spa experience, guests are invited to make use of the spa’s sophisticated relaxation areas overlooking the property’s extensive private gardens, or enjoy a relaxing pre or post therapy swim in the spa’s heated indoor pool.
